# Claim and Trade your tokens

Your claim schedule is the source of truth. Many projects use a cliff (nothing claimable before a specific date) followed by linear unlocks. The project sale page shows your vesting schedule and how much will be claimable.

### 🗓️ Understanding Your Schedule

* **Cliff** - First unlock date (nothing claimable before this).
* **Linear Vesting** - Tokens unlock gradually after the cliff.

### 📥 How to Claim

1. **Open your Portfolio page > My Participations** → Connect your wallet or passkey.
2. **Open the Project page** → On the right panel, **Your allocation.**
3. **Click “Claim now”** → Approve the claim transaction in your wallet.
4. **Wait for Settlement** → You’ll see **Pending** while the claim finalizes.
5. **Verify Receipt** → Your tokens are deposited onto your **Calyx Balance.** You can then choose to withdraw them to the chain of your choice

### 💱 Trading After Claim

Tokens launched on Calyx become tradable on Calyx and across all partners using Near Intents.

1. **Go to Trade from the main navigation** → Open the dropdown and search for the token you want to trade.
2. **Swap cross-chain** → The Calyx trade widget is also powered by Near Intents, meaning you can use any asset listed to trade this token to/from.
3. **Multi-Chain Availability** → You can choose to keep your tokens on Calyx balance (cheaper rates, better compatibility with other chains) or withdraw to a supported chain.

### 🛠 Troubleshooting

* **Claim Button Disabled:** No tokens are available to claim, or you’re connected with the wrong wallet.
* **Insufficient Gas:** Top up the destination chain’s native token and retry.
* **Balance Not Updated:** Check the block explorer for your claim tx; refresh your wallet/app.
